This was my favorite FF game ever because it allows a great customization of each character and has a very unique system that completely takes out the MP system. Also the monsters get stronger if you get stronger and allows the game to be at the same difficulty level as what your characters can handle. This game is just completely amazing with tons of unique qualities and i just loved this game!

yeah it's a really good game, but all of teh ff games are great games, but story wise ffVII is the best. they put a great story line in w/ it, and i think it's very very hard to top.

Well you know Squall's story is equal to Clouds. Squall was a child who lived in a foster home. Then he goes to Balamb Garden and becomes a student. He then passes the exam and becomes a Seed. Then when the Garden is in trouble he gets to take the position of leader. Then the story changes from nations in trouble to a world wide problem. Throughout this whole game Squall's overall personality is changing, he actually grows up. The reason for his growing up is not related to the events but rather the fact that he had people to stand by him and that he had the love of Rinoa and would die to protect her. Those gave him a reason for being himself, in the beginning Squall never planned on saving the world, or falling in love, but both just jumped onto his plate.
In many ways that is similar to Cloud so i dont think you could say that one was actually better than the other.

Alright well the newest member asked me why I liked the game so much...well the answer would be that I loved the whole set up and the game was very unique and unlike the rest of them. In this game you have a whole junction system, which allows you to idealize your characters. If you junctioned magic to your stats then your character was probably a warrior, if not probably more of a mage. I just loved that concept.
Another thing was that they had amazing characters (Squall, Rinoa, Zell, Seifer, Selphie, Irvine, Laguna, Rajin, Fujin, etc.) and made the plot interesting (yes I know some disagree). To me this was just the best of the games. There was a lot of action and the battle system was unlike most games which allows for a lot of fun.
All in all, they just had a lot of fun, interesting, unique, and amazing things that made this a very good game.
