actually if you are really good at math the calculator is because he can us all the spells that have "calc" in the description and therefore he can use all white, black, oracle, time mage, and some others i think and he used no mp.

Well i never really got into using the mimes because they had no special abilities to learn. I haven't gotten to use the calculator much yet either so after i get all the jobs mastered with Ramza i will tell you the strengths and weaknesses of each job.

Yea its probably a good idea, also i figured out that if you want to level up jobs fast you should get a fight down to 1 opponent and have everyone able to use "accumulate" and just do that until the characters can master their jobs. It always works. Plus whenever a character makes a move that is successful the other characters get JP in that job. (The ammount recieved is equal to the targets job level.)

what i do to level up fast is i have my people cill all teh monsters aside from 1. then we beat it down to near deth raise it back up and then do it again. i have fights last for about an hour taht way. it's fun sometimes.

i like mine better just because i dont use any items or mp. Plus i can hit around 400 with a chemist in chapter one (that is after the str. goes to 100). I always find that awesome.

well no i use chackra most fo the time. sides if i do use items i can buy more w/ the millions of gil taht i have. if i don't have someone w/ a job to heal i have someone w/ item right next to the monster.

i usually get monks because they hit hard and because of counter.

i think that the best offence you can get is from a knight because they can get awesome evade, and they can attack really nice.

my fav. thing was getting a ninja and a monk atthe beggining of the game, and i'd have a monk w/ double hit. i tore up everyone who got in my way. and because the 2 guests were sucha low level and teh only went into red fights the red fights would be insanely easy. i loved having ramza as a double hitting monk. it was so much fun. true a knight is a very good fighter, i just prefered to have my double hitting monk.

well if your double hitting monk tried to hit my knight with 97% evasion on all sides you would not win. Especially because my knight could just pound on you with a sword.
If you want to make the best offensive combo you would need a warrior as tank, a priest with cure 4, a mastered calculator, a mediator and a summoner with zodiac. Note that if you want Ramza to be the damage taker/dealer he can be a squire because that makes him really tough. (note that this combo is just prefered by me). I dont think anyone from that party ever dropped, not even in the side quest fights or the final fights and in every fight we killed every opponent.
